Program Scope
The program provides a structured framework to foster growth in seven core pastoral qualities: 1.Character Cultivating the character of Christ, modeled through personal integrity, humility, and a commitment to righteousness. Demonstrating honesty, moral courage, and ethical leadership in all aspects of ministry. Upholding biblical ideals through daily devotion, prayer, and spiritual discipline. 2.Evangelism Developing effective communication skills to passionately share the gospel and inspire faith in Jesus Christ. Equipping members to actively participate in evangelistic outreach and disciple-making. Emphasizing the unique Seventh-day Adventist message while engaging with the broader Christian community. 3. Leadership Building and articulating a compelling church vision that fosters unity, spiritual growth, and service. Empowering church members through mentorship, delegation, and skill development. Navigating challenges with wisdom, resilience, and adaptability to strengthen congregational engagement. 4. Worship Facilitating dynamic and spiritually enriching corporate worship experiences that lead congregants into a deeper connection with God. Ensuring that worship services are biblically sound, culturally relevant, and inclusive of diverse musical and liturgical expressions. Training and mentoring worship teams to enhance the quality and spiritual impact of worship. 5.Management Demonstrating organizational efficiency through well-planned and timely execution of ministerial responsibilities. Managing church resources—including finances, programs, and personnel—with integrity and accountability. Developing strategic planning skills to align ministry initiatives with the church’s mission and community needs. 6.Scholarship Committing to lifelong learning through diligent study of the Bible, theology, and pastoral literature. Engaging with contemporary scholarship to strengthen theological insight and practical ministry effectiveness. Encouraging a culture of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking within the congregation. 7.Relationship Building meaningful connections with individuals of diverse faiths, ages, ethnicities, personalities, and genders.
